The largest of the three initial ships that came over in 1607, the Susan Constant was a vessel of 120 tons, captained by Capt. Christopher Newport.
Dr. Bill Kelso, the archeologist in charge of the Jamestown digs. He found the original site of the 1607 Jamestown Fort in 1994.
The Concert at the Anniversay Park featured Bruce Hornsby, a native to nearby Williamsburg, and Ricky Skaggs. They recently put out a cd together, which I have owned for over a month. It is awesome!
Seeing these two guys together was magical.
