I wish our politicians of today would read more of wise men. There are mistakes on both sides, Republican and Democrats.
When we are at war, why are people talking about tax cuts? Eventually someone will pay for this, the next four generations most likely.
And what about NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement)? By agreeing to this, we are lowering our standards to that of Mexico. We will eventually become one economy, America (U.S.A.), Canada, and Mexico. In my opinion, NAFTA does a great job of giving our jobs away to other countries.
Let's do something about our defecit. How can a country year after year spend more money than it takes in? Ever hear of a balanced budget?
In my opinion, nearly all politicians have their own self-interests at heart, and not the future of this country. Who really cares about two years down the road? I care about twenty or thirty years down the road.
Why are there no more statesmen in this country anymore?
