I'll set up my campsite on Friday, May 22 when the gates open up. The music starts on the following Thursday, after Memorial Day. We all pack up Sunday.
Spend nine days at the foot of the Shenandoah Park in beautiful Madison County, Va. Hike from the end of the Old Blue Ridge Tnpk, just past Graves Mt, to the top of the mountain to the Skyline Drive and on over to Big Meadows Visitor Center on the Skyline Drive, and back. I did this last year and what a hike it was! Pass beautiful Dark Hollow Falls. Catch a film at the visitor center. All together I beleive it was about a 13 mile hike.
