A little history, and future, first. This is what's left of the 1911 "Old Westham Bridge" that was replaced by the Huguenot Bridge in 1950. The next several pics show the old Southampton Road that ran to this bridge prior to 1950. And, you will also see a pic of the 61 year old Huguenot Bridge being replaced. Within two years, all traffic will be on the new Huguenot Bridge.

Several pics of the "Z Dam" just below the Huguenot Bridge that is used to divert water to the city water treatment facility. On some of these pics you see a break in the dam that allows certain fish to spawn upriver and allow the kayakers to paddle through.
