Fireworks on July 3rd, 2012 from the top of the flood wall by Mayo's Bridge in Richmond, under a full moon

I've had to begin using thumbnail images in my websites since my Canon Rebel EOS T2i takes digital pics at 18 megapixels. When you click on the thumbnails, you'll see that the larger pics that pop up have been downsized as well, 18mp pics are just incredibly too big for websites. I decreased each one to 40% of the original size for ease of viewing/loading.

We got there early. A great vantage point, atop the Flood Wall.

Waitin' for the show.

Used the zoom lens to get a pic of Tredegar Iron Works, which is now the Richmond Battlefields Visitor Center near Brown's Island.

A great scenic spot. Look at two of the next three pics below, this shot was taken before the "moon" came up -- the same shot as below.

Full Moon Risin'.....to the east over I-95.

I have the power to move moons--from the east to over the city.

Not real. Photoshopped, but I think it just looks cool. All three pics taken from same spot within minutes of one another. I just moved the moon and the fireworks to make it interesting.

9:15, the fireworks begin! However, they keps saying over the radio the fireworks would be at Brown's Island, which is more to the right, much closer to the buildings. I had hoped to get pics with the fireworks AND the buildings. But, the fireworks were set up on Belle Island--too far too the left. Oh well.

A rose by any other name is still a firework?????

Another flower???
